Founded by Thomas Booth in the 1850s in Tunstall, England, Booths Ltd quickly became known for its high-quality, innovative designs, and faithful reproductions of old blue and white ware executed in so-called Silicon China - a thin earthenware that closely mimicked the look and feel of fine china.
